Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu movies, along with a handful of Malayalam. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actress Savitri for Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her, as was the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was a children's actress. Then, following a course in fashion design, she re-entered acting. She played her debut leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on projects that were not Malayalam in 2015. In addition, she signed to star in numerous Tamil film simultaneously. It was A. L. Vijay together and Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do very well, but it did get released. Due to her busy schedule, in 2015 she could not choose but to pull out of films which she was already doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working on Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Also, Dhanush and she played as the main characters on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed from 2015 with reports that it would be released in September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa with Vijay director Bharathan.
