Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously when she first enrolled in Stanford University. The first time she was recognized for her work, it was with roles in films such as Pleasantville and Election but it was her role as Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a turning point for her career. Witherspoon was awarded the Academy Award in the year 2005 for Walk the Line. Water for Elephants, This Means War, and Wild are among her latest films. Witherspoon received a second Oscar nod for Wild. Witherspoon had a great time as both an TV actor and producer on David E. Kelley's award-winning TV Series Big Little Lies. Witherspoon, is born Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon in New Orleans Louisiana on March 22, 1976. Witherspoon is born to nurses and doctors, grew up as the first debutante of Nashville Tennessee. She attended Harpeth hall, which was a private girls' high school. Witherspoon was randomly basis in 1991 answered an advertisement published in the local paper for extras. A mere 14-year-old, she became the star of her debut movie The Man in the Moon ( 1991). In 2003, she made her debut as a film star with The Invisible Man. In the following years, she was a part of several TV shows, including House of Lies Whitney, Better Call Saul and The Invisible Man. In addition, she appeared as an actor on The Dictator (1998) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2006). She is a talented artist and painter, in along with being an accomplished actor.
